Today Chicago grunge-pop band Smut releases their animated music video for 'Perfect Dark' the strong, slow-building closer off the band's new EP Power Fantasy, out last month! Set in a glitched out ocean landscape, the video follows an amorphous being's noble and mysterious quest for connection. The eerily beautiful animation from Julia Mellen compliments the track as the band steps out into a poppier direction. What is the big purple blob? Who is our hero searching for?
