Smut Announces New Album "How the Light Felt"

This week is all about SMUT--yes, Smut. The band who's killer EP Power Fantasy we released in November of 2020. Do you remember November 2020? It was a terrible month. This EP was probably the best thing that happened in November of 2020 and if you missed it we feel sorry for you.

But it's not too late!

What matters most is that you get on board for How the Light Felt, which is releasing November 2022. It's a beautiful listen, a seriously classic 90s vibe, with dark & cathartic lyrics sung brightly over the kind of guitar-heavy driving rock some of us (millennials) grew up with. The first song is out now and it's paired with a music video directed by Smut's very own drummer, Aidan O'Connor. Listen to the first single on your preferred streaming service and/or wander over to YouTube and leave a comment. It's time to get acquainted! Pre-save the album so it's waiting for you on release day. We've got tapes, CDs, and color vinyl on deck for this release including a VERY LIMITED pressing of a mysterious "negative space" colorway that will mostcertainly sell out. We'll even throw in a custom book of matches with your pre-order ;
